Sarah Wilson
One of only a handful of women to teach in vintage biplanes, Sarah Wilson truly is a modern day barnstormer, giving instruction in 1940's Stearman in Central Florida in the winter at Fantasy of Flight flying for Waldo Wrights Flying Service.
With well over a decade of experience in both the aviation and hospitality industries, Sarah is one of those rare pilots who loves to teach for the shear joy of watching her students soar with their new-found skill and knowledge. Her calm, light-hearted demeanor in the cockpit makes even the most novice flyer at ease. "When people fly these historic airplanes they are transported back in time - the roar of the engine, the wind on their faces, it is like you really are a pilot in WWII and the joy from that experience stays with people for the rest of their lives." Sarah holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating; Commercial Pilot rating, single-engine land and sea; instrument and multi-engine Flight Instructor; and has logged over 4000 hours as an instructor, corporate pilot, and barnstormer.

In 2006, 2008, & 2010 she joined with 18 other vintage biplane owners on a multi-city tour as publicist and coorganizer of the American Barnstormers Tour. With the 2010 American Barnstormers tour completed she is busy getting the word out that the barnstormers are coming to America’s GA airports again sometime soon.
